Welcome Dr. Ravichandran

We are excited to welcome Dr. Ravichandran to Dayton! 

We had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Ravichandran and his family when he and his partner, Josh, visited Dayton for his interview at a local hospital in the fall.  We enjoy learning what is most important to candidates and their families when relocating to the Dayton area. Dr. Ravichandran and Josh shared they were interested in learning about job opportunities, homes, the arts, religion and local area restaurants. 

The Arts

During the tour we had the opportunity to visit The Schuster Center and look at the upcoming schedule. Dr. Ravichandran had the opportunity to see Something Rotten and was pleased to see it was coming to Dayton as well. 

Housing in Area

We toured many communities including: Oakwood, Kettering, Centerville, Bellbrook, Springboro and Beavercreek. We were able to visit many neighborhoods that included custom homes and large yards. We were able to share many short term furnished and unfurnished options as well. 

Local Job Opportunities

Josh was interested in nursing opportunities in the area so we visited Miami Valley South and provided information about additional hospitals in the area. 

Religion

Another priority was finding a local temple. During their visit we visited the Hindu Temple in Beavercreek. 

Local Restaurants

Finally, one of our favorite things to share is all the diverse, locally owned restaurants. During their visit we had the opportunity to visit Ghostlight Coffee,  Wheat Penny and Jeet India

We look forward to their official relocation from Michigan next summer.
